Miss Mariam Ismail was at the office of the Ghana Olympic Committee [GOC] on Tuesday to meet the Vice President Mr. Paul Atchoe.
The purpose of the visit was to introduce her to the GOC and also congratulate him for his new appointment as President of the Africa Volleyball Confederation Zone 2.
The Tanzania sports personality said the purpose of her visit was to meet some of the leaders of Ghana Sports and encourage them to take part in the up coming Big Millennium Marathon fixed for September 22, 2018.
She expressed that sports is good for the human being and Ghanaians should cultivate healthly living to look smart.
“Exercising is good, it does not take anything away but rather gives you more than you want, it makes you youthful, strong, better looking” she stated.
Mariam who loves travelling, modeling, photography and sports hinted that eating healthy food is also very important.
Mr. Paul Atchoe commended and urged her to be focused and deliver in her role as the Face of the Big Millennium Marathon.
Meanwhile, the Millennium Marathon Sports Company is organising a 10km Pre-Marathon Race on Saturday, June 20, 2018.
