President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Samuel Dubik Masubir Mahama as the new Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
He takes over from Mr Kwame Agyemang-Badu.
This was contained in a letter dated 13 May, signed by the Secretary to the President, Nana Bediatuo Asante and addressed to the Minister for Energy, Dr Mattew Opoku Prempeh.
The Energy Minister was tasked to take necessary steps to regularise the appointment.
